My first blog posting and I feel it should be more momentous than it probably is. I have just returned from a very enjoyable mini-break in Oldshoremore in remotest Scotland. It is a beautiful part of the world - if I can get my techno-minded children to assist I may even be able to show you a little map of it's rough location (they did!) As you can see from the photos it is a very unspoilt and beautiful - digital photography is another area which I have zero knowledge of but I am hoping this blog will give me the incentive to improve. I quite like the picture I took of the couple with the umbrella, a bit Jack Vettriano I thought! The holiday is actually a 'fishing holiday' but I am proud to say that I never had a fishing rod in my hand the entire time. I amuse myself by going on walks to the beach and very bravely even rolled up my jeans and paddled (it was blooming freezing!)
